On the par-4, 525-yard seventh hole, Homa unleashed a tape-measure drive that soared an astonishing 477 yards, leaving an unforgettable mark in golf history.
Homa's titanic shot surpassed the previous record set by Davis Love III in 1983, also at Kapalua's downhill par-5 18th hole. The ShotLink era, which has tracked driving distances since 1983, witnessed the previous longest drive of 476 yards by Love.
