Jennifer Rumsey Appointed CEO of CMI

Columbus Native to Lead Company Through Industry Transition

CMI, a leading provider of engine and power generation solutions, has appointed Jennifer Rumsey as its new CEO.

Rumsey, a Columbus native, has been with CMI for over 20 years. She previously served as President and Chief Operating Officer, a role she assumed in March 2021. Prior to that, she was Vice President and Chief Technical Officer at Cummins Inc., where she was the first female to hold that position.

In her new role as CEO, Rumsey will be responsible for leading CMI through the industry's transition to cleaner and more efficient energy sources. She brings a wealth of experience in engineering, product development, and operations to this role.

CMI's Board of Directors is confident that Rumsey has the skills and experience to lead the company through this important transition. "Jennifer is a proven leader with a deep understanding of our industry," said Tom Linebarger, CMI's outgoing CEO.
